This project involved the design and delivery of a bespoke kitchen within a large period property near Wandsworth Common, London. The brief was to create a highly functional, open-plan ground floor that supports both family life and entertaining, combining refined detailing with a warm, layered material palette.

The kitchen is designed as a calm, functional space, balancing clean lines with warmth and texture. A restrained palette combines deep blue cabinetry, white shiplap panelling, natural oak and crisp white quartz. Shiplap introduces a subtle nautical feel, complemented by blue joinery and simple brass details. These elements are used sparingly, creating a relaxed coastal influence within a contemporary London home. A bespoke oak island adds warmth, while the quartz worktop keeps the space bright and practical. Glazing and rooflights bring in natural light, connecting the kitchen to the dining area and garden. Integrated Miele ovens and a Gaggenau hob ensure full functionality. The layout supports cooking, preparation and social use, making it efficient for everyday living without compromising the design.
